Monthly Fundraising Target
for office and schools in Pakistan:
$5000
...but helping us meet this is easier than it sounds

Top Priorities:
Please donate for these specific needs while Dosti VP Aijaz Ahmad is in Pakistan to oversee how money is spent:

(Idea comes courtesy of Rachel Williams and the Ipswich Rotary.)
  • Riaz Ullah, in charge of Dosti school #2 in the Badazia village, requires $4000 to build a new school facility by May. This will be one of Dosti’s biggest and best schools, accommodating 250 students.
  • Wells are still needed, at a cost of $1000 per well.
  • Drinking fountains, costing $300 each, are needed for nine schools
  • All the schools need small power generators—$500 each
  • Many schools need improved furniture—$500 per school
  • We believe the teachers of Dosti schools deserve to be paid $75 a month.

But please don't worry if you can't give these large sums. You can help with the smaller pieces:

  • A single child’s education, Kindergarten through 10th grade, costs $3-5 USD per month, or between $500-660 total.

  • $12 can purchase three school uniforms.

  • A school sweeper earns $23 a month.

  • A class or a single-class school costs $50 a month to operate.

We strongly encourage recurring monthly pledges, and encourage you to consider "adopting" a class or school, but we also appreciate contributions to our general fund.
